Skilled in managing agile sprints, coordinating cross-functional teams, and quickly adapting to changes, ensuring continuous improvement while effectively meeting project goals.
Amazon (Ring & Blink)
Product Design Engineer II (February ‘25 - Present)
At Amazon’s Ring & Blink division, I help drive the mechanical development of high-volume connected camera systems—hardware built at global scale to deliver reliable, accessible home security to millions of customers worldwide. My work spans early-stage mechanical architecture through mass production readiness, integrating structural, thermal, and optomechanical systems into durable, manufacturable products.
As part of the core product engineering team, I collaborate across electrical, reliability, and manufacturing disciplines to align system performance with design and production goals. This includes optimizing component layout, sealing, and material strategy to achieve IP65-level environmental resilience and consistent field performance. I work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners across China, Taiwan, and Vietnam, ensuring DFM, DFA, and DFx principles are applied effectively across the supply chain.
Beyond design, I lead initiatives focused on manufacturability and cost efficiency—partnering with operations and suppliers to streamline tooling, improve yield, and execute value-engineering programs that have achieved measurable reductions in assembly defects and BOM cost. I also contribute to validation strategy, guiding environmental, mechanical, and reliability testing frameworks to ensure each product meets long-term durability and performance targets.
Through these programs, I’ve strengthened Blink’s ability to scale mechanical quality, manufacturing precision, and cross-site collaboration—contributing to Amazon’s broader mission of building hardware ecosystems that are simple, secure, and sustainable at global scale.
TransMedics
Mechanical Engineer III (April ‘24 - November ‘24)
As a Mechanical Engineer of the Sustaining Engineering team, I supported TransMedic's Organ Care System, a revolutionary technology for preserving organs used in the treatment of end-stage heart, lung, and liver failure and the only FDA-approved technology for organ transplantation in the U.S.
During my time at TransMedics, I led multiple business sustaining projects, independently managing 2-3 initiatives at a time while overseeing project schedules and delivering regular updates to senior management. I led key stakeholder meetings to translate customer requirements into system specifications, ensuring alignment with business goals. I developed and executed verification and validation (V&V) protocols based on these requirements, maintaining product performance and regulatory compliance. I collaborated with various functional departments, including field service, manufacturing, clinical, and supply chain, to provide ongoing product support and drive cross-functional improvements. I also spearheaded the testing and validation of an alternate blood heater, coordinating efforts with external labs and international manufacturers. Additionally, I initiated and led the redesign of the OCS Heart organ chamber support structure, optimizing it for manufacturability and incorporating usability feedback from clinical teams, with plans for trial in the research lab.

DEKA R&D
Mechanical Design Engineer (May ‘19 - April ‘24)
As the lead mechanical design engineer within the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) engineering team at DEKA, I contributed to the BioFabUSA program — a public-private partnership between the Department of Defense (DoD) and ARMI, dedicated to advancing scalable, cost-effective manufacturing of engineered tissues and tissue-related technologies. I played a critical role in developing and refining cutting-edge solutions to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and commercialized products.
I led multiple new product development projects, including the automation of manual lab processes, achieving a 40% reduction in process time while maintaining yield targets. My work included engineering mechanical systems capable of processing over 100,000 tissue samples annually and releasing over 200 custom parts for fabrication, including machined, sheet metal, and injection molded components.
In addition, I designed and integrated modular bioreactor systems and sub-system prototypes into automated manufacturing lines. I also oversaw the production of prototype disposable units, optimizing designs for manufacturing and implementing cost-saving measures. My efforts in pioneering intellectual property resulted in successful patent filings, which contributed to the commercialization of engineered tissue technologies and the client's transition to a publicly traded company.
